CytexOrtho ReNew™ Hip Clinical Studies
Are you struggling with debilitating hip pain? Is it limiting your life? Looking for relief?
You’ve come to the right place. CytexOrtho is conducting a clinical study of the ReNew™ Hip implant for use in the U.S. Our patient enrollment is currently open.
Meet ReNew™ Hip – the solution for active patients with hip pain.
ReNew™ Hip was created for people with early-stage hip disease who are considered too young for a total hip replacement and have limited options for lasting relief. While treatments like physical therapy, joint injections, and pain medications may help manage symptoms for a time, they usually don’t stop the disease from getting worse. The ReNew™ Hip is different—it’s designed to preserve your natural hip and restore function, offering a long-term solution that aims to delay or even avoid the need for a total hip replacement.
We believe patients like you deserve a
better, less invasive
alternative to total hip replacement.
What is
ReNew™ Hip?
implant created by integrating a high
performance, highly engineered textile
structure with a Tru3D printed
component.
How does it work?
The ReNew™ Hip implant is made from safe, biodegradable materials that are designed to rebuild the natural shape of your joint and gradually integrate with the surrounding cartilage and bone. It’s designed to function like healthy joint tissue and support your body’s ability to heal and regenerate its own tissue over time.
What makes this implant unique is its patented design, which not only restores joint anatomy but also integrates seamlessly with your body’s native tissues. As the implant gradually dissolves, it leaves behind only your own natural tissue, offering a long-term solution that works with your body, not against it.
How would surgery work with ReNew™ Hip? How quickly can I resume daily activity?
Return to full activity is anticipated within a relatively short timeframe, depending on individual progress. Rehabilitation schedule follows 4 structured phases of monitored physical therapy:
-
- Phase 1 – Partial weight bearing, seated exercise
-
- Phase 2 – Increase weight bearing as tolerated, increase exercise
-
- Phase 3 – Walking as tolerated, increased exercise intensity
-
- Phase 4 – Return to sports/running
